Important Notes:
- Familiarize Yourself: Make sure you know your convoy details and the designated radio frequency before the drive.
- Arrival & Coordination: Arrive at the meeting point on time and use your radio to inform your lead of your arrival. Ensure you join the correct convoy.
- Punctuality: Convoys will leave at the scheduled time without exceptions.
- Essential Equipment:
- Mandatory for All Drives: Radio, flag, spare wheel in good condition, front and rear tow points.
- From Your Fifth Drive Onwards: Soft shackles and a tow rope in addition to the above.
- Liability Disclaimer:
- The club is not responsible for any loss or damage to your vehicle, driver, passengers, or belongings.
- Participation is entirely at the driver’s own risk.
- Insurance Requirement: You must have off-road insurance that covers vehicle damage and accidents involving the driver or passengers.
- Vehicle Preparation: Ensure your vehicle is serviced and has sufficient fuel before the drive.
- Hydration & Sun Protection: Carry plenty of water, wear a cap, and minimize sun exposure. Stay hydrated throughout the drive.
- Environmental Responsibility: Never litter in the desert, including cigarette butts. Carry a waste bag and ashtray if needed. Let’s keep the desert clean!
- Follow Instructions:
- Always listen to Marshals, Leads, and Sweeps.
- Risky or independent driving is prohibited. Violations may result in a warning or exclusion from future drives.
- Incident Protocols:
- In the event of an incident, recovery, or accident, stay in your car unless instructed otherwise by Marshals, Leads, or Sweeps.
- Leave guidance and safety management to the experts.
- Health Precautions:
- If you are unwell, refrain from participating in drives. Marshals have the authority to deny participation to anyone showing signs of illness.
- If you have motion sickness or other medical needs, inform your Marshals in advance for necessary assistance.
- Emergencies: Marshals can facilitate quick exits for genuine personal emergencies during the drive.
- Drive Reports: A detailed report for each drive will be available on our website or Telegram group.
