Important Notes:
- Please ensure you familiarize yourself with your convoy and the radio frequency you will be using.
- When you get to the meeting point at sharp time, please radio your lead and ensure you take your place in the correct convoy.
- Convoys will leave exactly on time. No exceptions.
- It's compulsory to have a radio, flag, spare wheels in good condition, front and rear tow points for your safety.
- From your fifth drive onwards, you must also have soft shackles and a tow rope besides the above equipment.
- We accept no responsibility for loss or damage to your car, its driver or passengers, and any valuable or non-valuable items.
- You should have off-road insurance that will cover vehicle damage and any accidents caused to you (driver) or your passengers.
- Participation is at the driver’s risk. The club is not responsible for any incidents, accidents, or fines during the drive. Registering for the drive confirms that you are joining at your own risk.
- Make sure your vehicle is serviced and has sufficient fuel before starting the drive.
- Please ensure you keep lots of water with you and constantly hydrate yourself. Wearing a cap in the sun is advisable and only expose yourself to the sun if absolutely necessary.
- A drive report will be provided by end of every drive on our website / Telegram Group.
- Never dump waste in the desert, including cigarette butts. Carry a waste bag and ashtray if you are smoking. Let's keep our desert clean.
- Please listen to the instructions of the Marshals / Leads / Sweeps and follow.
- Participants who do not follow club instructions, drive recklessly, or create alternate paths will be warned once and then sent back to a safe exit. They will not be allowed to join future drives with 4x4 Gulf Club.
- During any incidents, accidents, or recovery situations, participants are strictly not allowed to exit their vehicle or give guidance to new drivers. Please leave it to the experts — your Marshals/Leads/Sweeps — to handle the situation safely. Your help is only required when instructed.
- If Marshals/Leads/Sweeps notice signs of illness or contagious disease, they have the right to deny participation for the safety of others. If you are sick, please avoid the drives.
- If you have motion sickness or medical requirements during or before the drive, please inform the Marshals/Leads/Sweeps. They will provide special care and attention. We recommend discussing this before the drive.
- You can always approach the Marshals/Leads/Sweeps for a quick exit if any valid personal emergencies arise during the 4-5 hour drive.
- Any drives not posted on www.4x4gulf.com are considered private drives. The club holds no responsibility for fines, accidents, recovery, or damages resulting from such drives, even if 4x4 Gulf flags or stickers are used.
