Important Notes:

  1. Familiarize Yourself: Make sure you know your convoy details and the designated radio frequency before the drive.
  2. Arrival & Coordination: Arrive at the meeting point on time and use your radio to inform your lead of your arrival. Ensure you join the correct convoy.
  3. Punctuality: Convoys will leave at the scheduled time without exceptions.
  4. Essential Equipment:
    • Mandatory for All Drives: Radio, flag, spare wheel in good condition, front and rear tow points.
    • From Your Fifth Drive Onwards: Soft shackles and a tow rope in addition to the above.
  5. Liability Disclaimer:
    • The club is not responsible for any loss or damage to your vehicle, driver, passengers, or belongings.
    • Participation is entirely at the driver’s own risk.
  6. Insurance Requirement: You must have off-road insurance that covers vehicle damage and accidents involving the driver or passengers.
  7. Vehicle Preparation: Ensure your vehicle is serviced and has sufficient fuel before the drive.
  8. Hydration & Sun Protection: Carry plenty of water, wear a cap, and minimize sun exposure. Stay hydrated throughout the drive.
  9. Environmental Responsibility: Never litter in the desert, including cigarette butts. Carry a waste bag and ashtray if needed. Let’s keep the desert clean!
  10. Follow Instructions:
    • Always listen to Marshals, Leads, and Sweeps.
