Planned Itinerary for the Off-Road Event

• 7:30 PM: Gather at the designated petrol station to stock up on essentials such as food, firewood, water, and fuel. Ensure your vehicle’s fuel tank is full and have at least an additional 40 liters of petrol. Use the station’s facilities if needed. Pre-order supplies from Amazon if necessary.
• 9:30 PM: Arrive at the starting point and proceed to the camping area.
• 10:30 PM - 11:30 PM: There won’t by any BBQ during this time so please Consider dining out beforehand and saving the BBQ for later next day at 1-2PM. Entertainment will include activities like a singing competition. Bring your sheesha, table, chairs etc
• 11:30 PM: Set up camping gear and prepare to rest.

Saturday, December 7, 2024

• 7:30 AM: Wake up and have breakfast (e.g., omelet sandwiches, burgers, or other fast foods). Vegetarian options include foul medames with bread/roti, followed by fresh tea.
• 10:00 AM: Depart for the "Yellow Truck" location.
• 12:30 - 1:00 PM: Arrive at the spot for a photo session and a 30-minute break.
• 1:00 - 3:30 PM: Head to a cooler, safe area for relaxation and lunch. Options include curry and rice; vegetarians can suggest alternatives.
• 3:30 PM: Depart for Liwa Pool.
• 4:30 - 7:30 PM: Relax and bathe at Liwa Pool. Ladies and children bathe first, followed by the men. Note that a fee of 10 AED per person is required for the farmer’s permission.
• 8:00 PM: Begin the night drive towards the exit.
• 11:00 PM - 12:00 AM: Expected arrival at the exit point.

If reaching Liwa Pool is delayed, be prepared to extend the trip by one day to avoid night driving towards the pool. In this scenario, camp on the spot and depart by 8:00 AM towards liwa pool, reach liwa pool by 11:00 AM and exit from there to spot by 4PM

• Use radio frequency 442600 for communication, bring a radio charger as well. 
• Arrive on time and take your place in the convoy.
• Convoys leave promptly; late arrivals will not be accommodated.
• Ensure your vehicle has a radio, flag, spare wheel, and tow points. include soft shackles and a tow rope. Carry extra engine oil, steering fluid, radiator fluid.
• Off-road insurance is required. Participation is at your own risk.
• Keep your vehicle fueled plus carry additional 40L petrol can to refill as the distrance will be more than 100 offroad KMS. It’s important to do a full service of your car before attending to ensure it is in perfect condition. Please do not come if you have any issues with your car as recovery is very expensive from liwa costing average of 2500 AED.
• Bring your own camping gear, including a tent, enough water, and an extra fuel tank.
• We might be required to stay for 2 days, and mobile reception will be poor. Inform your families and close relatives that you might be unreachable when deep in the desert.
• A temporary WhatsApp group will be created for invitations and updates, shared 1 week before the event.
• Dates may be adjusted based on the availability of marshals and support members.
• Stay hydrated, wear a cap, and avoid unnecessary sun exposure.
• Follow marshals’ instructions at all times.
• Maintain the desert’s cleanliness—carry waste bags.
• Report any medical needs to marshals before the drive.
• Any unapproved or risky actions will lead to warnings and potential exclusion.
• We will coordinate with members to organize BBQ, drinks, and snacks for the event through our whatsapp group.
